VIVO V15 Pro display

V15 pro display is a large 6.39 inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. So, the size takes care of delivering an immersive viewing experience – you are going to enjoy pretty much any movie or video or game that you play. And since there is no camera or any sensor or any bezel visible upfront – you truly get an edge to edge display experience.
Now, its Super AMOLED – so obviously a very bright, saturated, vivid and super punchy colorful display. We all know how good and battery efficient super AMOLED is.
And it’s FHD+ resolution – so you just a get a really crisp high quality display.

The ambient light sensor is hidden right underneath the screen here – so you get auto brightness too.

VIVO V15 Pro design

V15 pro comes in two colors – blue and red. The blue V15 pro has got two color tones of blue – depending on how you tilt and how light bounces off – it might seem like blue at times or peacock green at times.

The back is plastic – but you won’t even realize it is plastic – it feels good, that’s the bottom line. The device does feel heavier than other devices in this segment – but I actually prefer that. The phone doesn’t feel like a toy phone and it’s got some bulk in it – feels solid to me.

In the front you get a selfie elevating camera – tucked in. The microSD card slot on the left right lets you expand storage using a microSD card and the dual SIM card slot at the bottom. AI button on the left – it’ll basically launch Google Now.

VIVO V15 Pro camera.

The VIVO V15 features a triple AI camera lens setup at the back and an impressive 32 MP elevating motorized camera in the front tucked inside the V15 body.

The three cameras at the back are:
48 million quad pixel sensor (effective 12 MP)
8 MP ultra wide lens
5 MP bokeh lens (for portrait shots)

The V15 pro camera is actually pretty good and I found it better than the OnePlus camera in quite a few scenarios. The camera can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps and full HD videos at both 30 and 60 fps. So you do get ultra smooth motion videos at full HD.
The camera does not feature OIS but it does feature EIS (electronic image stabilization).

Pictures clicked look really good in broad day light though I’m yet to test out the cameras ability to shoot in low light. Of course, it won’t be that good given the price point, however, the idea is to see whether it is better than other products in this segment.

The 32 MP camera in the front is amazing. The clarity, sharpness, detail and lighting is very impressive. You can be assured that selfies clicked using the V15 pro are going to be one of the best looking selfies you can take.

The Vivo V15 Pro is priced at INR 28,990 and offers you octa core processing power with 6 GB of RAM. Couple that with an immersive 6.39 Super AMOLED display and an ultra-sharp FHD+ wide screen along with a massive 3,700 mAh battery – I think it’s very good package overall.

I'm still shaking my head in disbelief about the Micro-USB charging port but still pre-ordered this stunner of a phone.
