On a cold day in November, Moritz from Fenchel & Janisch talks about his favorite 4K point-and-shoot camera. It’s a camera that already has been around for two years but still delivers great images and videos in 4K. But is it the ideal camera for traveling?

Hey , You Mentioned it has a 15 minute cut off in 4k , Look Online , There Are some Really Easy Ways , To unlock it, wich apparently , you can go alot longer.
The video is for unlocking the abillity to add frame rate , but most people have reported it adding extended time on the Lumix Series

IBmusic_vector says:

Будет постоянно пыль на объективе перед матрицей. Чистить только в сервисном центре дорого. Через 6месяцев чистить.

FractalBuilder says:

Seems like an interesting camera. If only it had a few improvements to it, I'd consider it.

Jarfay Li says:

Is this camera more convenient on operation than Sony RX100M4or5?
I have difficulties on choosing between both.
Because RX100M5 doesn't have touch screen but have phase focus which is really good at auto focusing.
but LX10 has touch screen to focus on what i want .It's only need to touch the things on the screen.

Can you guys give me some suggestion, please.

Why many times did you use the word cool man? This is not cool! 😄

The Realest Idealist says:

📸 What camera did you use to record the shots of the camera you was reviewing?

fingerhorn4 says:

The LX100 is a fabulous camera, and has very good image quality plus lots of excellent control features. HOWEVER, its let down is lack of decent image stabilization, which is lens-only. So it is not surprising that you demonstrated it with the help of quite a large, hi-spec and heavy tripod. The immediate contradiction is this: The LX100 is meant to be a TRAVEL camera, meaning you pack light and use the camera handheld. But you cannot operate the LX100 in the manner of some of your great video footage without a tripod, or you are restricted to keeping the camera dead still. Panning, walking, moving is not going to work except under exceptional circumstances.

So that means the LX100, despite being a wonderful camera, cannot really be used as a travel video medium unless its use is very restricted. That is why thousands of LX100 fans (and I am one of them) end up buying for example a GX85 or similar full 5 axis stable camera. (Great footage in your video by the way).
