I wanna pocket that Pocket! Nice video! We’ve got a similar comparison on our channel pitting the Blackmagic Pocket 4K up against the Alexa Mini…whooohaa! Will put a link below 😁🎥

Daniel Dougan says:

I get that it's (relatively) affordable, but this is not even remotely a camera for beginners. If I were recommending a camera for just starting out shooting video, I would recommend the Panasonic G85, which still has lovely video quality but at a much lower price. And it has IBIS.

Daniel Dougan says:

This camera is quite interesting to me, but it's definitely not the right camera for me. The Panasonic GH5 is much closer with excellent battery life and IBIS. It still shoots incredible video quality, albeit not QUITE on the level of the BMPCC 4K, and it's a far superior tool for stills. But, even that's not quite right for me. I love phase-detect autofocus, and I'm willing to sacrifice some video quality for that as long as the video still looks good. So my weapon of choice is the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II. It's not a pro video camera, but it's a great 50/50 camera with great C-AF tracking performance. The newer Olympus cameras shoot up to 120 fps in 1080p, so that would be a step up for the future. In the meantime, 60p in 1080p is good enough for my needs…and the cinema 4K footage looks very, very good.

Em Leingod says:

why is this video only showing up as 480p tho

Dan Bowers says:

Outstanding! Was the footage taken with just the camera or were lenses involved? Thanks.

sometimelater says:

not cinematic , footage looks super cheap and homemade

James Short says:

was this intro anamorphic

Same Page says:

It’s irresponsible of youtubers like you who gives companies like this so much money for a product that’s not worth a fraction of that price. But glad you learned from it.

Thien Lai says:

These are beautiful shots! What glass are you using for the beautiful bokeh with the girl shots?
