NX1 in 2019?

Сершшш says:

Panasonic GX80|GX85|GX7MK2 is cheapest to get [email protected] now. Thanks for review

Marchall Yudha says:

with constant f why sony not overexposed with that much iso ? do you set bigger shutters ?? or what cause the background staying same, not become sharp at all

Matthew Williams says:

I loved your ISO comparisons… and seeing how the Sony was clear whilst everything was being destroyed. Pure camera comedy.

Olena Deorditsa says:

Samsung is out of focus

Video Master says:

Tony, this was the video two years ago that caused me to buy my NX1, and it REMAINS the best camera I have ever bought or that is available. I bought the a6500 which has AMAZING imaging and dynamic range BUT it has ATROCIOUS rolling shutter and thereby rendering the camera unusable FOR ME, as I shout action/martial arts films. I just wanted to thank you again.

Alberto Vazquez says:

what kind of lenses for the Samsung?

zvxcvxcz says:

+Tony & Chelsea Northrup At around 1:53 you say the Samsung base ISO is 200, this is incorrect. At around 4:45 you have it correct, so the point is mostly moot…. but it's bugging me now 😛

ion cojocaru says:

i don't think is always the camera's features, it's more what you do with it. PLease check this short documentary shot entirely on samsung nx1 https://vimeo.com/208879227

Tomas Av. says:

I think NX1 had to be tested the same as Sony- with connected external recorder to hdmi 🙂 Because samsung outputs uncompressed 4k. I bet this would made even more better video quality 🙂

Tomas Av. says:

Sad part is that in most part of this video cameras were on manual focus and NX1 was not focused good so for most people it will look like nx1 is bad, but we all know it's best from all those cameras 🙂

Alon says:

Hey guys, I have a question: recently I'm getting hired more to shoot at events.
Currently I'm using a 6D, which isn't that great for video (no slomo in 1080p). Should I still buy a GH4? or what are the better options nowadays? Please help me out! 🙂

Daniel Anishchenko says:

im guessing the 25600+ isos on the samsung and GH4 were done in post?

Joe Mizera says:

I've watched several of your comparison videos, and enjoyed them quite a bit. I found this one, as I came across someone selling a used NX1. On the ISO comparison shot, I originally thought the NX1 was back focused. But when you compare the eyes across the three shots, they are comparably sharp. It seems the Samsung is doing some sort of processing on your skin. Sony has done something similar in the past. It's a flattering effect, that I hope can be turned off. If I'm right, this could be a big plus for some clients.

Mike Salomon says:

Hello. Thank you for the video. I would like a camera with very efficient AF as the Nx1 but the problem is I cannot find it anymore. So which camera can I choose?. A light one.

____Y____ says:

great work! thank you. can you do a video GH4 vs GH4r or do you already have one?

soulscape says:

In the ISO test NX1 is not focused on Tony, instead it's focused on the wall. Look at the word "Lightroom 5" on the magazine. How sharp it is. It's OK to think this is ISO test, so the focus point is not super important, but still when people look at a blurry image, they will think this camera is bad even in low ISO.

XU JINSHEN says:

Why samsung has a bloody good body and they give it up?

doctajonz says:

Tony, what lens was on the GH4 during the focus tracking? Thanks.

Henry says:

How is this a good comparsion? You are comparing a $2000 camera to 2 $1000 camera.

adan M says:

Dollar for dollar I dont think you can compare the Sony with Gh4 and Samsung.
